Leadership, Connection & Advocacy in Action
The Teen Advocacy Council (TAC) is more than a leadership program — it is a supportive community where high school girls can build friendships, find their voice, and connect with trusted mentors who encourage them every step of the way.
Throughout the year, TAC members strengthen their leadership skills and put their voices into action through meaningful experiences that impact themselves and their community. Each year, girls lead an advocacy project centered around an issue they are passionate about, working together to raise awareness, educate others, and create positive change.
TAC members also participate in experiences that expand their understanding of leadership, wellness, and community impact, including college tours, mental health fairs, and initiatives focused on prevention and education. Through TAC, girls develop the confidence to speak up, the skills to lead, and the connections to know they are never advocating alone. They leave the program stronger, smarter, and bolder — ready to make a difference in their schools, communities, and beyond.

Join the Teen Advocacy Council
Open to all high school girls in Washington County who are interested in building leadership skills, connecting with other young women, and using their voices to make a difference.
TAC members meet a few times each month, with a schedule designed to accommodate the busy lives of high school students. Through these gatherings, girls have the opportunity to build friendships, connect with mentors, explore issues they care about, and take action on causes that matter to them.
Participation in TAC is completely free. Whether you are passionate about advocacy, looking to grow as a leader, or simply hoping to find a supportive community of like-minded girls, there is a place for you in TAC.
